Gig Reports -
Great to play in two new pubs recently - THe Bell in Old Town Swindon and the Queen Charlotte in Andover - both great venues and we are looking forward to going back there.

Good night at Marlborough Town FC on Saturday 29 April. Weather was atrocious so well done to everyone who made it along.  We were a select band of hardy revellers but between us all we had a great night!!! ;-)

"To The Best Band EVER!!!!
Thanks so much for making our day go off with a bang! Had a wicked day and you were all a big hit!!! My little niece thought you were really groovy! Hope you enjoyed it as much as us. Thanks again!
Emma and Mark."

Steve Carter did a great job standing in for Tim at the Bear in Mlbgh on Saturday night.  Good evening enhanced by the stag night from Devon who kept collapsing onto the stage!!  Good laugh

We were at The Plough in Durrington on Sat 19 Jan for Julies 50th birthday.  What a great night.

Did J9's XXth birthday party in a very, very wet marquee on 12 Jan!! Boy did it ever rain??  Good time had by all and much dancing done in small space available. Good fancy dress on display and a few faces I haven't seen for many years!!! :-)

'Kings of Knowing - Best band we have ever had for New Years Eve ' - Steward at Durrington Working Men's Club

Active week at beginning of Nov - a great party at Marlborough Town FC for Bonfire night - must have been a 1000 people there for the fireworks.  Turned into a right rollicking good evening - even Max danced!!! ;-)

Thurs 27 Sept had our mini tour to Isle of White to play at the Silicon cup regatta.  An adventure getting there on the ferry - the ting-a-ling in East Cowes ran aground and we had to back off and go the long way!!!  Big stage and big room.  Had a blast and every one seemed to enjoy themselves.  The boys went back on the Red Funnel and got home at 5am!!!

What an amazing weekend we just had - did a debut gig at Railway Tavern, Hungerford on Friday which went well.  They all danced but apparently they signify that they like you by greeting the end of every song with  absolute silence!!!  Strange!! Saturday night we were rocking out at Pewsey Carnival night in a tent at the Coopers Field - what a blast!!!  Must have been 400 people there!!!  We absolutely loved it"!"

Had two gigs on Saturday - on in the afternoon (3-4pm) at a Sugar Hill Festival near Aldbourne and then BURBAGE beer festival Saturday at 9pm - what a blast - great time!!!

Had a couple of weeks off and then back in style with a gig at the Greyhound in Amesbury and then Donna and Jamie's weddding on 25 August.  Good nights - both.  Congrats to Jaime and Donna who were off to do batttle with hurricane Dean in Mexico - hope they did OK!!!

Rollicking good weekend - played Coopers in Peswey for the first time for ages - a real dancing onthe tables evening!!  Followed by an open air gig down at a BBQ at Salisbury.  Great atmosphere and a bottle of Jack Daniels with no lid!!!  WooHooo

After a bit of break played Sarah & Simon's Wedding in Pewsey on Sat - bit rusty first half with some technical problems but made up for it 2nd half - good times & congrats to the happy couple.

Cracking evening at the Greyhound, Amesbury on Friday 29 June.  Never been there before so didn't know what to expect - thunderingly good time. Strange feature of the evening - had to have the ladies walk between us to get to the loo!!!  Rebooked for 24 August so make sure you make it along to that if you missed us this time around!!!

Played the Antelope at Upavon on Saturday night - strangest set up we've had to do - us in one room and everyone else in another!!!  Everyone squeezed in into the strip of carpet in front of us (about 2 foot wide) and we gave it large til midnight!!!  Good atmosphere.

Great weekend!!  Friday night at the Plough in Durrington to make up for gig we missed there a couple of weeks ago and then onto Somerset for the annual cricket BBQ bash.  Boys of Summer got a debut (had the desired effect) and we had a couple of guests on stage!!  Good old Chris Ladkin warbled his sax through Mustang Sally and then 'Tom' blew us all away with the main guitar bit on 'Smoke on the Water'.  When this boy is playing the Albert Hall remember where you saw him first!!!

Rocking Night at Crown, Ludgershall on Sat 9 June - it gets better and better ever time we go there!!!!  Inspite of no posters (I blame Andy myself) it filled up nicely and they were still dancing at the end of the night - we like playing there!!.

Good fun at Barleycorn in Collingbourne Kingston - they like those old rock numbers!!  Note to self - Must learn some Quo!! ;-)

'I like you...' Borat

"Booked for a high profile military dinner night. What a way to burn off the dinner! From the word go, KINGS OF KNOWING had all rocking. This carried on throughout their 2 sets. Great vocals, Great music, Great Band. Come highly recommended. This band comes with the flexibility to make any function big or small a night to remember.. Look forward to booking them again. Thankyou."  Choccy Barr - PMC - Upavon

"You guys rock" - Drunken bloke in Durrington

"Stop playing our stuff better than us" - Chad - Nickelback

"Will you play my daughters wedding?" - Jeanette at The Crown
